Interreg Bulgaria-Türkiye programme provided new vehicles to tackle unauthorized crossings along the border. They were officially commissioned to police authorities in Burgas, Haskovo and Yambol. 

The first regional consultations in Burgas on the future of the Interreg programmes in the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Türkiye for the 2028-2034 period will take place on 26 March.

In the process of preparing the new programming period, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works is collecting project ideas from stakeholders – public institutions, businesses, NGOs, academic and research organizations.
