The main goal of the project is to develop a coherent and targeted tourism policy in the cross-border region as an integrated response to local needs, based on a partnership between the public sector, institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, which generates jobs, creates broad opportunities for development of entrepreneurship, long-term economic and social benefits, increases tourism revenue, leading to sustainable and inclusive economic growth. 

Project activities:

• "Soft" activities: Training for entrepreneurs, support for local producers, educational visits, creation of "Internet-based virtual Tourist Centre Strandzha"

• Tourism related activities: Creation of common integrated tourist product and tourist database of the Strandzha region, development of "Guidelines for vocational training tailored to the needs of local industries, with a focus on digital skills and green technologies" 

• Infrastructural support to boost sustainable tourism in the cross-border region:
   
  Sredets – establishment of Tourist "in situ" center with bike lanes through partial rehabilitation of the town park
   
  Malko Tarnovo – rehabilitation of part of the town park
   
  Kaynardja and Vize – renovation of streets in areas with tourist and historical importance.
