Priority 2 - Integrated Development of the Cross-border Region

Specific objective: RSO5.2. “Development of better access to services of general interest”

The main goal of the project is to upgrade and promote the cross-border tourist (pedestrian and bicycle) route "Between Two Seas", which will gain international importance, to stimulate the development of tourism thanks to the uniqueness of the services and products provided, to stimulate economic development in the cross-border region, bу popularizing the natural and cultural historical heritage in а wide territorial scope.

Project activities:

• Soft activities: Organization and conduct of 6 Eco Trainings for youths "The Greatness of Nature“
   
• Tourism related activities: Joint development of marketing and advertising materials including a film to promote the tourism potential of the region. Organizing an event for experience exchange "Sustainable Tourism through Partnership and Cooperation”
   
• Infrastructural support to boost sustainable tourism in the cross-border region:
   
  Elhovo – repair, rehabilitation and socialization of tourist infrastructure in an urban park in the town of Elhovo
   
  Keşan – construction of an outdoor area for sports “Ecological Park” in Dokuzdere area
   
  Marking a cross-border tourist route: Elhovo-Malomirovo-Sitovo-Petrova Niva-Kosti-Brodilovo-Ahtopol and Hamzabey-Uzunköprü-Gala Lake-Ipsala-Enez-Dokuzdere.
