To unlock the region's year-round tourism potential, drive sustainable economic growth and improve regional competitiveness, based on streamline the utilization of the tourism resources and improve tourism marketing and branding practices, through development and test implementation of new approach for year-round tourism standardization, by developing of pilot year-round tourism product "Maritsa Timeless Journey", while preserving and promoting the common historical heritage of BG and TR. 

Project activities:

• Soft activities: Development of a comprehensive methodology for standardizing the labeling of year-round tourism in the cross-border area
   
• Tourism related activities: Development of a pilot year-round tourist product "Maritsa Timeless Journey”
   
• Infrastructural support to boost sustainable tourism in the cross-border region:
   
  Malko Tarnovo – current repair, renovation and revitalization of the building of the History Museum "Prof. Alexander Fol"
   
  Harmanli – conservation, restoration, and improvements of the architectural and construction monument “Izvorat na Belonogata/Gerganina Cheshma"
   
  Edirne – renovation of the historical building "The Italian Church" to restore its operational condition and create a Digital Archive Center of Edirne.
