Specific objective: RSO2.1. "Promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions"

Atak Mutfak, Türkiye  

To ensure joint energy-efficiency measures, exchange knowledge and combining sources and efforts of Turkish and Bulgarian companies working in the furniture production and carton packaging industries, for sustainable production practices and joint measures leading to energy efficiency with more than 60 % and reducing the GHG emissions with more than 18,5 tons per a year, and contributing to development of environmentally friendly cross border area.

Project activities:

• Energy Efficiency Investments:

  Türkiye: ЕE machines for the furniture production in Edirne

  Bulgaria: Insulation of external walls, roofs, replacement of old window frames with PVC frames in Burgas

• Trainings & Knowledge Sharing event. 

Expected project impact:

• Energy Efficiency: Improved productivity and lowered energy consumption
• Environmental Impact: Reduction of GHG emissions and promotion of clean production technologies
• Cross-Border Cooperation: Enhanced collaboration in the furniture production and carton packaging industries.
