Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses from the Bulgaria-Turkey cross-border region participated in an info day at the "Flora Burgas" Expo Center on January 30, 2024, organized by the Managing Authority of the programme.
Information on the application rules under the Third Call for Project Proposals, the requirements for the eligibility of activities and costs, the requirements for visibility and communication of future project proposals, and the necessary application documents, as well as the process of evaluating project proposals, was presented by experts of the Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariat-Haskovo. A practical exercise for submitting project proposals, including registration and filling in the application form, familiarized participants with the functionalities of the Joint Electronic Monitoring System (JeMS), through which project proposals are submitted.
One of the goals of the event was to support businesses in creating partnerships in the cross-border region Bulgaria - Turkiye. Projects under the program should be prepared and implemented by at least two partner organizations, one from each of the participating countries.
The call under Priority 1 "Environmentally-friendly cross-border region" is aimed at promoting energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, as well as promoting the transition to a circular and resource-efficient economy. The application deadline is March 13, 2024.
