Important for Closure of 2014-2020 Programme – Reporting and Reimbursement of expenditures

Dear beneficiaries,

In order to ensure the smooth running of the closure process of the Interreg IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria – Türkiye 2014-2020 the Managing Authority developed the following schedule and deadlines in connection with verification process of the reported expenditures by the beneficiaries after the end of the project implementation:

  

EUR 6.6 M to be channelled for SMEs in the cross border area of Bulgaria and Türkiye

More than 6.6 million euros from the Bulgaria-Türkiye cross-border cooperation program will be injected into projects on energy efficiency and circular economy for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. "It is of utter importance for us at this key moment to support small and medium-sized businesses for a smoother 'green' transition.

More than 200 people from Bulgaria and Türkiye joined the Interreg Cooperation Day

More than 200 participants from Bulgaria and Türkiye entered into the celebration of the Interreg Cooperation Day 2023 of the Bulgaria-Türkiye programme. The event took place in Çamlıca, Turkey, and was in the spirit of the European Year of Skills.

Participants revived the local tradition in colorful decoration of the old houses and learned surfing and canoeing with instructors from sports clubs in the region.

Strategy Board gave the green light to 36 concept notes out of 47

The Strategy Board of the Bulgaria-Türkiye programme identified 36 concept notes that contribute for the implementation of the Territorial Strategy (TS). Members of the TS management body reviewed all 47 concepts submitted on a regular meeting in Edirne, Türkiye, on 23rd and 24th August. Next step in the assessment process is the quality check of the documents. Candidates with the best ideas will be invited to hand in full project proposals.

 

Public consultations on the forthcoming call under Priority 1 “Environmentally friendly cross-border region”

Interreg VI-A IPA Bulgaria – Türkiye Programme 2021-2027 publishes for public consultations a package with guidelines for applicants under Priority 1 “Environmentally friendly cross-border region”.

The purpose of the call is to identify project proposals that could contribute to promotion of energy efficiency and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and to promotion of the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy.
