European Commission Webinar for Local and Regional Authorities: Opportunities for Citizen Participation in the EU

The European Commission will host a one-hour webinar on October 17, Thursday (11:30—12:30 Eastern European Time) on the topic: “How to Enable Citizens in Your Region to be (Cross-border) Active in the EU: The European Citizens’ Initiative and Other Opportunities for Citizen Participation.”

Pre-defined candidates from the Territorial Strategy submitted 19 full project proposals

A total of 19 proposals were submitted in the second phase of the campaign for projects that will fulfil the priorities of the Territorial Strategy for development of the cross-border area of Bulgaria and Türkiye. All 13 candidates in the main list and 6 from the reserves will race for the EUR 13.4 M budget. The final scores will be available up to three months. 

A total of 19 proposals of SMEs jump to the next stage of assessment

The Monitoring Committee of the Bulgaria-Türkiye programme stamped the list with 19 project proposals of SMEs that passed the first step of evaluation. The call targets the promotion of energy efficiency and reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the transition to a circular and resource efficient economy. The financial allocation for these activities is EUR 6.6 M. 

Infoday in Kırklareli for the shortlisted candidates from the Territorial Strategy

The National Authority of the Bulgaria-Türkiye programme will organize a meeting with pre-defined applicants that are preparing detailed project proposals from the Territorial Strategy. The event aims to support lead candidates and partners to expand their capacity in project preparation.

The workshop will be on July 9, 2024, 10:00, at the Kırklareli İl Özel İdaresi Cazibe Merkezi.

"From Vision to Action" campaign crowded more than 150 participants

The information tour "From Vision to Action" for pre-selected candidates from the Territorial Strategy flocked together more than 150 attendants in Haskovo, Kirklareli and on a webinar. It was a crucial step in equipping our applicants with the skills to submit valuable full project proposals for the second phase of the call from Priority 2 "Integrated Development of the Cross-Border Region".

Info campaign to back candidates in assembling comprehensive project proposals

The Joint Secretariat of the Bulgaria – Türkiye Programme will run an information campaign to support the pre-defined applicants in Priority 2 “Integrated Development of the Cross-Border Region”. Both lead and project partners will master in evolving concept notes into full project proposals from the main and the reserve list.
